Open Society Foundations Ombudspersons:
The Open Society Foundations has three ombudspersons, each with distinct geographical responsibilities. The ombudspersons are authorised to consider complaints concerning alleged abuses of authority by OSF entities, programs, departments, national and regional foundations, and members of their boards or staff with respect to grant making, advocacy, or other program implementation. The ombudspersons handle complaints concerning alleged abuses of authority, attempt conciliation when they deem it warranted, and present findings and make recommendations to the president and Global Board to redress problems when necessary. Thierno Kane serves as ombudsperson for Africa and the Middle East.
